THE BALL ESTATE

It is one of the most storied properties in Alamo—where countless charity events, from picnics to teas to fashion shows, have taken place; dignitaries dined and danced under the stars; and, perhaps most notably, community stalwarts Dorothy and Gordon H. Ball raised their five children, surrounded by natural beauty. In 1946, the couple purchased the estate at the end of Camille Avenue, on the coveted westside of town. Today, the neighborhood’s virtues include proximity to Iron Horse Trail, Round Hill Country Club, and Alamo’s charming restaurant and retail hub. Offering a rare combination of convenience and seclusion, the Ball Estate is ready to welcome new owners for its next chapter.

A LASTING FIRST IMPRESSION

Upon arrival, past a gracious portico, an elegant foyer awaits—characterized by intricate millwork, period fixtures, and [wall murals depicting lush flora?]. The home’s entry level holds the public spaces—the kitchen, living and dining areas, well-suited for gatherings casual and formal, intimate and expansive—as well as three generous [en suite?] bedrooms.

FLEXIBLE MODERN LIVING

Upstairs, an ample primary suite is joined by X additional bedrooms, plus multiple spaces that can serve various functions, from office to playroom. Windows and glazed doors abound, inviting natural light while beautifully framing the treetop views.

AN OASIS, INSIDE AND OUT

Along with indoor venues that accommodate friends and family, including a basement-level recreation room, the home’s park-like grounds—complete with a pool house, [detached kitchen and bar?], and gazebo—allow for myriad alfresco entertaining opportunities. The open-air living, lounging and dining zones, both shaded and in the sun, make for a residence that feels like a year-round retreat.

KHRISTA JARVIS DIEBNER

Consider it hometown advantage.

Born and raised in Contra Costa County, Khrista Jarvis Dieber has a deep understanding of Alamo, Blackhawk, Danville, Diablo, Dublin, Pleasanton and San Ramon. “I know what it’s like to live here,” says the Danville native, who currently calls Alamo home. “I not only know the history of the area, but also the schools and where to go hiking or biking or get a great cup of coffee.” All of this translates into extraordinary insight — beyond data and analytics — that benefits home buyers and sellers alike, no matter the price point or square footage of a home.

With parents who each owned various businesses, entrepreneurship is in Khrista’s DNA. She began her real estate career fresh out of Saint Mary’s College in Moraga and established her namesake practice, Khrista Jarvis Team, in the early aughts. Today, under the Coldwell Banker umbrella, her all-women staff of 15 includes agents plus in-house design and marketing experts. Tapping into their combined breadth of experience, they provide clients with white-glove service — right down to details like swapping out flooring and light fixtures to boost a property’s appeal. Meanwhile, the sales agents’ collective listings provide exclusive access that can lead to off-market transactions.

Along with their collaborative approach, the team leverages a strong network of trusted industry pros. Additionally, as fixtures in the area, giving back to the community is an ongoing priority, including hosting Halloween parties, Easter egg hunts and the charitable Holiday Sip & Shop that foster connections and fun. After all, for Khrista, selling real estate in her own backyard is as personal as it is professional.

KHRISTA JARVIS TEAM

The Khrista Jarvis Team is known for delivering a refined, results-driven real estate experience built on expert negotiation, thoughtful communication, and meticulous transaction management. With deep roots and extensive experience across Alamo, Blackhawk, Danville, Diablo, Dublin, Pleasanton, Lamorinda, Walnut Creek, and San Ramon, the team offers clients meaningful local insight paired with elevated marketing and branding strategies that set every property apart. Their commitment extends beyond real estate, as they actively support and engage with the communities they serve. Clients trust the team not only for their professionalism and market expertise, but for their ability to make the entire process feel seamless, informed, and confidently guided from start to finish.
