A MODERN LIBRARY – Space #7
Reimagining the traditional library, this luxurious and modern space was designed for relaxation and connection. Whether curling up with a good book, enjoying a family game, or getting work done at the built-in banquette, this inviting setting offers something for everyone. Deep, saturated hues envelop the room, fostering a sense of warmth, while richly textured ceiling wallpaper grounds the space with contemporary elegance. For added comfort, guests can unwind with a cocktail from the bar. A collection of books and unique objects fill the richly wallpapered bookcases, complemented by a modern floral mural that wraps the room in vibrant color and texture.
ROOM HIGHLIGHTS
Wallpaper, Wallpaper, Wallpaper! We wallpapered everything we could with gorgeous patterns from Fromental. The bookcases were done in a floral mural and the ceiling in a radiant new pattern called Plumeria.
A spectacular hair-on-hide rug from Kyle Bunting—Kyle partnered with us on this custom version of his Lunar design, done in a tone-on-tone of pale greens. The directional texture of the hide creates depth and dynamic movement and anchors the seating area.
A stunning stone-top library table—This table features a custom asymmetrical wood base by Randolph & Hein and supports a gorgeous Blue Roma Quartzite stone slab from Pietra Fina. The shape of the stone top and edge detail are also intentionally asymmetrical to complement the base.

ABOUT THE SAN FRANCISCO DECORATOR SHOWCASE
The story of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase began in 1977, when Nan Rosenblatt, a former San Francisco University High School parent and an accomplished interior designer, and Philip Fernandez, the first president of the school’s Parents Association, conceived the first Showcase to raise funds for the University’s financial aid program. In its first year, the Showcase raised $26,000 – since then, it has raised over $19 million to benefit the program.
This year’s event will be held at 2935 Pacific Avenue in Pacific Heights. The elegant 9,400 sq. ft. home features a stunning 2,150 sq. ft. rooftop deck with breathtaking city and bay views. The home will be open to the public from April 26 through May 26, 2025. Tickets may be purchased here, with all proceeds benefitting the San Francisco University High School’s financial aid program.
