JUBILANT JACK AND JILL
Between two children's bedrooms lies the enchanting Jack & Jill bathroom - classic yet whimsical at every turn.
Conceived as a colorful and gender-neutral space, the central element in the room’s design is an exquisite hand cut mosaic tile featuring playful foxes and llamas prancing across a background of semi-precious Peridot, Lapis Lazuli, Citrine and Ruby jeweled glass. The enchanting pattern brings rhythm and movement to a small space and evokes a sense of elevated child’s play.
A red lacquered vanity with bamboo accents grounds the room with sophistication, while the traditional white subway tile receives an unexpected twist with its preppy ticking stripe. Above the vanity sits a scalloped mirror with two custom scones adorned in a lattice detail.
Each detail has been meticulously designed to tie into one another. The result - a cheerful and uplifting shared space - where siblings can start and end the day with a smile.

ABOUT DINA BANDMAN
Dina Bandman always knew she wanted to be an interior designer, but her path to design was anything but ordinary. While earning her J.D. degree in New York, Dina realized that she wanted to pursue her passion for interior design. She enrolled at the Art Institute to earn her simultaneous degree in Interior Design and has never looked back.
Known for her bold yet traditional aesthetic and exquisite collaborations with de Gournay, Dina’s style embraces all of the influences of the places she's been lucky to call home -- New York Traditional, California Cool, Southern Charm, and Miami Art Deco. With unparalleled attention to detail, scale and proportion, she prides herself on her ability to merge disparate styles and create designs with personalities as individual as her clients. Although based in San Francisco, Dina’s projects span the 4 corners of the US with projects in New York, Tampa and Seattle.
The veteran of four Decorator Showcases, her award-winning designs have been featured in numerous publications including Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Luxe Magazine, California Homes, Modern Luxury Interiors, Gentry Home, Nob Hill Gazette, and Marin Magazine.
When not designing (which is rare), Dina enjoys reading New York Times best sellers on her Kindle and going on walks with her intrepid schmorkie, Gypsy.
